Yes, had a smoked stout in the boozer last night.

I do like them, but like you, can see why people wouldn't. I don't think I've ever had a "wow" smoked beer. Although I had a taste of a Bamberg rauchbier last year (Sheffield tap) which I'd liked to have tried more of, if they hadn't run out.
