Induction hobs - warning

They do sound nifty, and designers love them. 2 quick issues with them though:

1) They draw a lot of power, you may need to have dedicated wiring put in.

2) They interfere with electrics, and are unsuitable for people with pacemakers or insulin pumps.

Neither of which my kitchen designer cared too much about - but my kitchen fitter flagged it up, and I'm glad he did. I've stuck with gas & and electric oven.
