The thing I like best about the Ice Bucket Challenge

is its ability to generate equal and opposite amounts of admonishing sanctimony and naked self-aggrandisement, at the same time as getting insane amounts of great publicity for a really worthy charity like never before.

It really is genius. The charity benefits, and we all get to see what flavour of dickhead a lot of people are. Although, to be fair, a lot of the dickheads had already advertised their particular flavour - but it's always good to out a few new ones.
