But unless you're broke (ie a student) or your cars a piece of s**te, I'd get myself along to someone like Nationwide Autocentres and get a new one. It's possible that any second hand one you get could also be knackered and then you've got the added cost of having someone fit it. Also, if you're prone to breaking them, a new one comes with a warranty.
