Except in my case his name was not Tim, but Peter. A colleague who retired earlier this year, and his wife and kids who came to his retirement party at the office. Last saw him three weeks ago when he was loving life and excited about going on holiday and then sailing his yacht to the Caribbean.

We realised when his wife's passport was tweeted by some Ukrainian t**t.

Moral of the story is, don't sit waiting for retirement to do all the stuff you always wanted to. Do it now.
