To appoint the person they see best fit for the quickest return to the Prem.
They won't give a s**t whether a potential manager has played for us previously or not and I don't actually think they'll give a s**t about playing style / perceived playing style.
It's all about getting the snout back into the Premiership trough.
Unless my views on McNally are totally wrong that is.
