Fair enough. In that case agree with you I think

I guess the only argument in Liverpool's defense is perhaps that their money is being invested with an eye on it making a *future* return - they'll take back the CL revenues etc when they materialise. Less obvious that's the case with Chelsea and Man City.

But the effect is very much the same, anyway, at least for a while.
