Thing is I have never wanted us to sign prem journeymen

For me that is quite a depressing future. Mercenaries who just roll along for their next big prem contract.

Plus there is a question of whether we can afford them anyway. As far as I know we are still one of the lowest wages in the league and they are unlikely to change that.
