My thoughts from last night

What a f**king joke of a manager Hughton is. The subs he made last night were like a f**king parody of himself, like some sort of Spitting Image character 'Cautious Chris'. We were all over West Ham from the 60th to the 75th, he waited that long to make a change and then take off Hooper who'd fluffed his lines a couple of times but was lively and getting into good positions for Johan f**king Elmander. He's not scored all season, he's absolutely f**king turd and he's the least mobile striker we've had since Sibierski. Disgraceful decision and was purely done as a defensive move to maintain the 0-0.

Then to add insult to injury he takes off Redmond a few minutes later, after he's done his full back 3 times in about 5 minutes and put some decent balls into the box and generally been our best player along with Fer. Then in his post match interview he has the f**king cheek to say it was to "introduce fresh legs" his legs didn't look that f**king tired when he was burning past two West Ham players 1 minute previous, putting in a nice cross which Elmander's nowhere f**king near because he's hanging around outside the 18 yard box looking completely f**king lost. Oh and if you're going to take a winger off, maybe look to Robert Snodgrass, who had another f**king stinker, like he's had all season. Literally had 1 good game all season yet he's completely un-f**king-droppable and even worse, un-f**king-substitutable. Just a complete joke.

The worst thing is EVERYONE knows exactly what's going to happen when we make those subs. Pilkington will beat his winger less than Redmond but is a better finisher and crosser. So we'll sacrifice some penetration and if we're lucky Pilks might put a good ball in. You've got Snodgrass stinking up the place on the other wing and taking him off makes a lot of sense but he refuses to. Emlander is a static striker who's good for hoofball and nothing else (and he's not that good at that). He doesn't create chances for other players with the ball at his feet, he can't beat a man with power like Hooper can (and was doing) and he never attacks either the near or far post, so any crosses we do put in are easily dealt with.

It's just so frustrating because under Lambert we win that match every time, we're all over them, camped out on the edge of their box. You bring on Wes for Johnson so there's someone to slip in an overlapping full back or a winger cutting inside and you win the f**king game. But not Cautious Chris, he sees a point to be won and we go on to f**king lose because he disrupts our flow completely with his subs. Still, at least my usual moan about his subs having no impact on the game isn't true this week... He's made 63 subs this season and not one has got a goal or assist after coming on. Pathetic

Oh and RvW got his obligitory 86th minute appearance. I don't think he's covered himself in glory when he's been on but what was the f**king point in giving him 5 minutes? No time to adjust to the pace of the game, just another body in the box. Might as well have picked the tallest player and put them up there.

I'm just done with going to watch us away from home now, I've been to so many games in the past 2 years and I haven't seen us win a single f**king one. I've also seen us employ almost exactly the same tactics every single game, that I presumed he's borrowed from some f**king conference team. He's sucked all of the joy out of being a Norwich supporter for me, this season feels almost as bad as the year we were relegated from the Championship. So little to get excited for and just this dull, depressing resignation of the fact that if we're to stay up, it's because others have managed to royally f**k up rather than us dragging ourselves up through getting our f**king house in order.

Man, those subs, seriously, just can't get over how a man paid 100s of thousands a year could seriously think it was a good idea. We were dominating them and he just completely killed that, clearly looking to hold on to what he had, deserved to lose for that.
