We really messed up this transfer window

We needed (a) to sack the manager in late Dec/very early Jan, and/or (b) to invest in some new goal-scorers.

I can sympathise more with keeping hoots than with not buying more strikers, since stability is a good thing. But it has been so obvious for so long that our problem is goals (lack of) that failing on (b) is just baffling.
