yes, certainly true that getting to the Prem was the cure for our finances

but I think he had as big a part to play as Lambert in changing the mentality of the club into a winning one.

We haven't sold a player we wanted to keep since he took over, and they backed Lambert in the Championship when it was still a financial gamble (singing Barnett, Surman etc..)
