But in truth "sorting us out financially" has really just involved getting promoted to the premiership.

I know that they had to have some discussions with the bank and no doubt having the likes of Bowkett and Mcnally gave us credibility in that respect but since then our financial fortunes really just reflect the increased revenues from being in the premier league.

Other than that I think he's good at getting players in and probably dealing with agents etc. not so sure that some of the penny pinching has been 100% necessary.
