When Johnson and Remy were sent off this meant that the two most potent Newcastle attackers were out of the game. We had around 10 minutes left and somehow kept the game at 0-0 and in my opinion had a decent chance of winning having improved quite a bit in the second half.
Bringing Tettey on was an obvious choice but why did Hooper go off? He?d looked our most likely chance of nicking a goal. Snodgrass would have been my choice to get subbed.
I?ve would have understood if the same situation had occurred away at Cardiff where not losing would have been more important, but Newcastle?
Thanks
