4-2-3-1 Has Worked For Us Hasn't It?

We've looked quite decent when (big 'when' here) we've had a pretty much full pick to choose from and gone 4-2-3-1.

Fer and Tettey as the 2, perm from the Snod, Pilks, Howson and Redmond in the forward three with Hoops as the lone striker.Maybe Pilks-Howson-Snod for now.

Gives the midfield a bit of presence without, you would hope, everyone getting in each others way. CH is all about shape with the team as well so ticks that box.

The "don't lose" mantra coming up and above the "do win" one has accounted for teams packing out midfields-its the front line, games are won and lost there, dominate the midfield and you have a hold on the game from which you should prosper.

It isn't always pretty but then neither is a 5 day test match sometimes but you can still appreciate the technical and tactical nuances behind it all and work out the running on-field battles and subtleties.
