There's nothing wrong with what he's said here at all

1. Jelavic especially and Long to a degree are quality players.

2. He doesn't mean "we don't have quality players". He means "we haven't been producing quality at both ends of the pitch" - and of course, he's right about that.

The reasons for that are why I want him out - and have harboured such doubts about him for so long: unlike, for example, Hendrikos, who was going around calling people "idiots" for disagreeing with him not so long ago.

But please let's not start imputing and castigating him for things he hasn't said. Football fans always do that when they turn against a manager: all of a sudden, the latter can't win at all. Unless, of course, he does start winning. Regularly.
