not sure any of that suggests the Board's not pulling in the same direction tbh

Could be a couple of reasons why he hasn't sacked him -

a) he could have decided he's going to, but after the Hull match when there's a 10 day breathing space
b) He might think that Hoots will turn it round
c) He may have been looking for replacements and not like what he's found to be realistically available

The Lambert stuff - he wanted off - I think we all pretty much accepted that - and in reality there would be no way we would convince him otherwise because Villa are bigger than us and have bigger potential.
