I think all the teams in the bottom half are similar this season

they all have a focus on shape and defence, and all go on short runs of form, before runs of poor form.

In my opinion, we are over achieving to be competing (reasonably well) with clubs like Sunderland, Villa, Fulham, West Brom... who are established premier teams with more money than us.
