Complaints about Hughton are based largely on the fact I don't think he's a particularly good manager and that I think that other managers could and would do better with the same squad of players plus it would also be a bit more enjoyable to watch.
On a purely stats/fact based approach I accept he is currently doing just (but only just) enough to keep his job at most clubs of our ilk but the risk we face is that when it comes down to such fine margins (and his approach almost guarantees) there is no room for error and a few bad results could see us relegated.
