Spot on!

All I can say is that I agree. On Cup Final day it was one of the highlights of the year! We would watch Cup Final It's A Knockout, Cup Final Question of Sport, watch the teams leave their hotels etc etc. if anything it was a bigger achievement to win the Cup than the League. But it has been absolutely destroyed. Redressing the balance with money is an answer but only by radicalising the handouts to create a balance with the lower league Clubs because it's the fear of relegation from the Prem coupled with fear of not making Champs League for the few richest that's killing the cup. Somehow the difference between the league TV payments would have to be brought far closer together and obviously that's never going to happen. But I don't think this has just ruined the FA Cup I think it's ruined football in general and made the quality of the Championship very poor. I love the game of football, love NCFC but hate what the new money has done to the game in this country. (Apologies and steps off soapbox).
