I've thought similar for a while. However, yesterday, when he received the ball in advanced positions, he a) held the ball up better by nipping about here and there than Elmander does by just being Elmander and b) he wrong foots the defenders: with him fannying about the ball could go to anyone, anywhere, whereas when he's not playing then everyone knows exactly what we're going to do.
