my main thing issue with Wes

For all is fantastic control and little touches there is hardly any end product. He poses almost no goal threat himself and never seems to play a good ball once he gets near the penalty area. For all that he has been described as brilliant yesterday what did he actually create? Most of our chances seemed to come from the Shoddy/Cafu interlinking on the right.
This is often true of Wes - he is very pretty to watch but ultimately pretty harmless. Given that you have to sacrifice a striker or a wide player to accommodate him I do worry that at this level that might not be enough (which would be a shame as he's great to watch)
