We had a call back to today from the customer services department of the ipad retailers. They are 99%+ sure it is an identity fraud thing as the credit card payment and delivery address given was Mrs KC's name and our address. But the card number was different. The order was taken over the phone.

So what could the fraudster hope to gain from this apart from intercepting the ipad which is already back at the retailers. Maybe demanding a refund on the credit card used? Or perhaps calling round hoping to dupe us into giving it back to a person impersonating the retailer or courier. I?m not really sure at all.

And another question, would the credit card used, if was registered at our address show up on an Experian check immediately? We have both registered for free for a months and nothing has come up on this? I?m not expecting a physical bill to arrive as it?s all on line nowadays but I would have thought that some paper work might have come through as it contains consumer credit act details.

Any ideas and season?s greetings to all City fans.
