Dubs, If they won't rent to you alone, can you get a family member or friend to act as a guarantor? When I moved back to Norwich after 12 years abroad I had to get father in law to co sign our first pad to rent.

I was still being employed by my USA company so had no verifiable income in the UK so had to do that, once they had that guarantor I was having properties flung at me.
