Companies aren't allowed to give out bad references. They sure as hell aren't allowed to divulge medical history.

Agents shouldnt be asking for medical history, they sure as hell shouldnt be divulgiung medical history.

Landlord's shouldn't be asking for medical history (see where I'm going here?) They sure as hell shouldn't be basing letting decisions on medical history and disabilities.

You are not under any leal obligation to reveal yourmedical history to anyone when it comes to lettings, so don't.

If you're having trouble with any letting agencies or landlords, I'm happy to sort you out with a suitably officious letter in my capacity as a solicitor. (Just don't tell the SRA) It might not do much but it should put the willies up them if nothing else.

(My wife has a disability so this type of attitude is the pone thing that really, really gets me pissed off.)
