Fibreoptic Broadband - Advice Needed!

Hi all,

Which company would you recommend as a provider? ideally with decent customer service too, but I really don't care anymore, as long as the connection is both fast and reliable!

I'm currently with Sky, who have proved woeful this year in providing both broadband (Non-fibreoptic variety) and a decent phone line. Phone line has stabilised now but broadband is awful.

I've complained, but get taken through the same steps over and over again that never work.

So, basically, I'm going to move both phone and broadband elsewhere, because I've had enough. I want to move on to Fibreoptic, as surely the estimated speeds for that should be more accurate than standard broadband? I currently get 1-2mb and know the people who lived here previously were getting 10mb plus with their provider (Virgin), so know it's possible to get better than the pathetic 1-2mb it waivers between at present.
