from what i read of Waddock's post i took that to mean McNally likes Pulis' achievement

which isn't the same as saying that he's a fan of the style of football Pulis has employed to do it.

I think John Beck did a great job getting Cambridge to the verge of the Premiership back in the 90s, but that doesn't mean i'm a fan of how he achieved it.
