All she has to do is

Complain to paypal who will then open a case and they will then freeze the amount she payed for the ipod untill the case is settled.
So my advice would be empty your paypal account fast,then ask her to return ipod with description of what the problem is and then and only then refund her money,paypal will also return their fees that you paid to them.
