There really is no defensible reason why she wouldn't send the ipod back if it's faulty. Her argument will be "Well, if I send it back, what guarantee have I got that you'll refund the cash?". None. No guarantee at all - but that is *exactly* the situation she agreed to when she bought it in the first place, assuming she paid up front, and you waited for payment before sending the ipod - which is how every single ebay transaction I've ever done (hundreds) went.
