...looking back at past WC play-off draws, I couldn't see any signs of big teams being kept apart (or being drawn together, either). So you shouldn't really suggest that something 'never actually happens' - what are you thinking of?

Conspiracy theories need to have *some* evidence - even if it's just circumstantial - to be remotely plausible, in my view. Couldn't see anything from those draws.

I know you point to the euro draw from a few years ago. But that's a different tournament, with a completely different organisation in charge.
