I'd say that there have been a lot more persuasive arguments to sack him than to keep him

Sack him:

Very poor form throughout 2013
No sign of improvement despite considerable expenditure
Overly cautious tactical approach

Keep him:

Early days
Who else would come in
It's not 2009.
