as much as I loathe QPR

they are probably a better option than Celtic at the moment - more money and a realistic chance of getting promotion next season and more likely to be first choice than he would be here. Championship is probably a step up from the Scottish league in terms of skill, except for playing in Europe for a few games.

I'm of the opinion than if we really want him, we'll get him. We shouldn't be expecting him to turn down QPR, just so we can pay a million less or so. QPR is still an OK move for him at this stage of his career.
