I heard rumours that he did, and that his rose to ?40k per week once RVW joined.

The guy who told me used to live up near Carlisle, but I don't know his source.

He was an ex-Carlisle youth player years ago, so may be a decent source, I dont know.

Not sure he'd be worth ?40k per week to us next season though, so it makes sense that he's moving on/being moved on now, although still sad to see him go.
