I am not actually agreeing that he should be sacked btw, I'd like the chance to see what happens with a fully fit squad before I make a decision on that and would also like the chance to see if he can pull off any signings. I know that is too long for some to wait but in my opinion Worthington has proved that he CAN be a successful manager and I believe at the present time sacking is more of a risk than keeping him. I appreciate we are possibly heading towards a time where that may be reversed but I'd rather be cautious and wait until that point because sacking Worthington would cost us money we don't have and as others have argued, you can't guarantee his replacement would be any better (afterall they would have exactly the same players and exactly the same money). If the board and the players are genuinely happy to back Worthington, then so am I.
