7000 feet above sea level, only way up there by helicopter!
Port Stanley is like a quint British Victorian Fishing Port...little harbour, shops, couple of pubs, lovely hotel. Red post and phone boxes....bit like visiting little towns in Cornwell.
The people are fiercely proud to be British and many of their kids come to an FI boarding school in London. Many then go back, not many stay.....
