IMHO while his wrong side was so lacking, he actually *wasn't* good enough. But Hoots was never going to play him to his strengths: his bustling, straight-down-the-middle stuff was impressive, and his running as a lone striker at the start of last season was something we never really gave him enough praise for, I think
