A few years ago a girl that worked for me killed someone.

After a big night out she went back with this feller she'd seen a couple of times. Went to bed, had a good shag and she fell asleep. He gets a load of mates round for beers, next thing she wakes up with one of his mates in bed trying to rape her. It all gets a bit violent and she somehow gets a knife from the kitchen and stabs the bloke.

She was arrested and held without bail until the trial, at which she was given 12 years. She did about 3 in Holloway and 4 somewhere else not quite as horrendous before getting early release. The bloke she killed was a bit of a face, rapper/DJ/dealer etc, and all his scum mates let it be known that they were seeking revenge. She had to change her name and start life all over again. She was advised against contacting any of her friends and could only have very limited contact with her family.

I never did get my stapler back.
