is it just me or is the whole thing just a bl**dy circus. He appears to have got bail on the basis he "reached out" to the court with his affidavit and on the basis that he doesn't actually own a house in Italy just has access to one.
I read earlier that bail is only granted in "exceptional circumstances" with such offences yet have seen no discussion of what circumstances apply here only pathetic bickering over trivial matters like would he get through an airport x-ray machine because of his legs!
Wonder how many other people in SA charged with pre-meditated murder get granted bail!
The only person in this whole trial that appears to be vaguely competent is the defence lawyer so he will probably get off!
