Isn't there some stat along the lines of most people forming their first impressions of someone within about 6 seconds of meeting them? I bet the average juror quickly switches off after 15 minutes upon discovering there are no ad breaks during trials...

"His eyes are a bit close together and he looks shifty. Hang him!"
