I won't divulge how I know this but

I once knew of a woman who genuinely gave the following reason for finding someone guilty whilst on jury service:

"because he looked like the sort who would do it...."

Unbelievable.

Thankfully there were 11 slightly more clued-up people present to bring some form of logic to the table.
