are you referring to Roeder's alleged treatment of Hucks. Who I'm pretty sure started and scored in his last game for us. So not even vaguely comparable to teh situation you are describing.

Megson's (I think it was Megson) treatment of Bowen (also 399 games?) might be a better comparison.
