Discussing Steve Potts and now his son playing for West Ham. Potts senior is now back on the coaching staff at West Ham.

Anyway, Dave mentioned to me about Steve Potts last game for West Ham, on the last day of the season some time ago. This was a classic dead rubber, nothing in it for both teams. West Ham were 8th.

Potts was on 399 games and was due to retire. He was named on the bench. Did he get on for the last few minutes? Did another player get on for the last five minutes instead of Potts? He he get a decent send off from the home fans?

Who was West Ham manager I wonder? Ring any bells with any other Norwich player not given a send off?
