Good point.

Weirdly 'Der Letzte Mann' is always translated as 'The Last Laugh' - don't know why, 'tis strange.

Lola rennt is pretty good, if only for the way Franka Potente yells "Man-NIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Very flashy - one of those films I always recommend to friends who want to get into foreign films but don't know where to start (rather than throw them in at the deep end with von Trier's 'The Idiots' or something).

I love 'Der Blaue engel' - not an *incredible* film, but a very good one, and Dietrich is delightful.

Goodbye Lenin's worth watching, and I presume you've been Der Untergang by now.

Have you seen any of Werner Herzog's stuff?
