My thoughts

I don't for one minute think Hoots Out calls are necessary, but I do think we made a very ordinary team look World class yesterday.

Given that we gave Man City a run for their money, beat United and didn't look outclassed against Chelsea, to be beaten so comprehensively by a team outside of European places is a bit poor.

Hoots does need to think about substitutions before they become 'token', and we desperately need to stop playing (as seems the case) a team to get beat, as we're saving Bassong for a game we 'can win'.

If we have that attitude then we may as well give up now. I'm not bitter, just bitterly disappointed we were so s**t.
