Help required...

Son rents a place and had to have the washing machine repaired as it was blocked

The letting agent has now sent him the repair bill as it was blocked with a hair clip - not my sons and not anything he has seen before!

Do letting agents always try to blame the tennants and how does he explain nicely that they can poke their repair bill?
