Genuinely baffled by negativity on here..

I felt we were simply outstanding yesterday. Tactically all our players were switched on and each and everyone of our players gave 110%. certainly looked like a team happy to bust a gut for each other and the manager. That's our 2nd clean sheet already and encouragingly came in the first match that Hughtons preferred 2 (Bassong & turner) could play together.

Perhaps the game against arsenal 3-3 was a better spectacle but ultimately we were fortunate to draw that game (nailed on van Persie pen at the end). Today we won 3 very valuable points and had the much better chances. 2-0 or 3-0 could easily have been the result if our finishing was as ruthless as some of our more established rivals.

As for accusations that we have set up negatively every game I don't buy it we have played several times with a 4-4-2 line up and I can't recall us sitting back too much in the QPR and Spurs games. What is clear is that Hughton doesn't feel comfortable playing 2 up with wes in midfield and I think he is probably right.

If we stay solid and players chip in with goals and we are able to add quality we have an excellent opportunity to impress. Where injuries bite for other teams our bench looks really strong. Likes of Fox, Tierney, Butterfield etc didn't even make bench.

If we keep solid as a team
