This Mansion Tax jobby. Anyone else irritated by the way

that it seems to be a given that the rich deserve everything *because* they've worked hard? I've been working hard for 30 years and I'm still not rich. I know lots of people in the same position, and many in worse ones.

On the other hand, there are an awful lot of people who've become rich either by keeping tabs on, or speculating upon, the efforts of other people working hard.

FAO Essex: I'm not saying all rich people are lazy. I'm saying they're not the only ones who work hard.
