but the law is "reasonable and minimum force" - and t**tting someone with a golf club who is coming at you to attack you is reasonable force. Yes, you'll ALWAYS be arrested so theres an official enquiry by court..... just as a mate of mine who fired at the IRA cell as they drove by firing at him was also arrested and tried by courts marshall - just to clear him!

the OP of this thread was about shooting someone whose broken into their house, whether they attacked them or not.
