To answer some of your q's

I turned it over this morning on the kerb.
It's iced and raised.
It was the triage nurse who said it would be a four hour wait - she didn't offer me a x-ray.

I did wonder whether to wait till tomorrow given the predictable Saturday night rush, but thought it wouldn't be so busy till later. As it was, it seems there was just a rush run-of-the-mill injuries (and some lovely puddles of dried blood on the floor). If my head still hasn't failed off tomorrow morning I'll give it another go.
