did find it kinds of interesting that a report came out that 4 of his targets are Holt, Ayala, Snodgrass and Matt Phillips.....

While all are fine players, I doubt those are the quality of player needed to challenge the top 8

As was said at his presser. they had a poor season last year and are looking to challenge in the top 8 and get into Europe.

Maybe Lambert only knows one transfer trick, (buying hungry players from a lower level)

While that quality of player is probably enough to keep you in the division, is it enough to challenge the top 8?
