something simple no doubt but its baffling me

i've got a picture of a room with a piece of art in it and i want to change one colour to another one. i plan on doing other s**t with the rest of my life so i can't be picking out all the minute detail with that bastard wand tool. is there a way that you can use the dropper to pick up the colour you want to replace and then a tit you can push that allows you to transform said complicated pattern of colour?

i've tried "replace colour" but then i lost the will to live
